The post I was supposed to post.
The text that I enjoyed reading the most over the summer was probably “Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. I enjoyed reading about the imaginary world where everything was regulated and “perfect” but ironically took all of the pleasure out of life by being this way. I was surprised that, although I disagreed with how Harrison went about enforcing it, I held the same idea of how nobody should be handicapped and how boring life is/ would be if people were handicapped as they were in the story.
